Main things: No color management control. No positioning and size control. Probably other things too.

Are there any drawbacks opening an image file with Mac Preview (instead through PS) and launching the print via the QuadTone RIP dialog window, regarding image profile settings (Grey gamma 2.2), etc.?
(I have Print-Tool but wish to know for someone who doesn't)
