All of the 3rd party K3 type inks have way lower longevity ratings compared to OEM K3 inks. See http://www.aardenburg-imaging.com/. So you would want to use OEM inks if you are selling your prints. I don't think you can mix and match refillable carts with OEM carts, at least my auto reset refillable 3800 carts recommended against it.
