No, QTR does not support these; see http://www.quadtonerip.com/html/QTRrequire.html. However, these basic 4-ink printers can make very good B&W printers with the Epson driver. Photoshop curves can control them, and those curves can be embedded in ICC with QTR's Create ICC-RGB.
For a very simple B&W setup , see http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/C88-C13-5.pdf . Some time ago MIS sold a setup they called the "EZ" approach. It was, and worked fairly well. Google will find a number of different setups I've used or set up for others in order to get good digital printing to those on the lowest budgets.
Today, I have an Epson 1100 that has two black inks for very fast text printing. In a pinch it can also be made to print very good, primarily or 100% carbon pigment prints that will look great many years after the Epson OEM ink prints have faded and discolored.

Curious to know if it is possible to run a a basic Epson 4-ink printer like the Epson C88+ with QTR?
