I am retooling some of my old pt/pd digital negative stuff and decided to avail myself of the ability to use the LINEARIZE=" X Y etc" at the end of my ink descriptor file after I got close with the GRAY_CURVE="" technique. I read a 51-step test strip with an i1 , processed the LAB file with the QTR-Linearize-Data.app and pasted the appropriate output for digital negatives at the end of the ink descriptor file. This file failed to compile to a quad file when I used the Install command.
However, when I did the exact same procedure using a 21-step test strip, the file compiled perfectly. Is there a limit to the number of linearization pairs that can appear inside the ink descriptor file?
