With regards to availability of 3880 Printers I purchased 2 refurb units from Epson last Fall after monitoring the Epson Refurb Printer Website for many months. It seems that when they become available, the supply is sold quickly - no surprise!

I would still like to hear from others who may be using the P400, P600, or P800 printers to print digital negatives. I looked for the 3800 and 3880 printers online and there are not many to choose from.

If you use third party inks, be sure you have the right correction curves or you won’t get the results you expect. Creating curves for digital negs is a laborious and complex task.
I like the Epson because it has a wide community support and cheaper to operate due to the bigger cartridge.

Ps. The curves for the 2880 are completely different than for the P800 due to the new inks.
