I no longer have a 1430 and do not have access to viewing the profiles. I most often did use the toner, as I prefer neutral prints. With the inksets I have put together over the years, most of the positions are 100% carbon. If they are printed without the use of a blue toner, they'll be warmer than I like (on most papers and with most printers). So, I most often had a blue toner in the printer as well as 100% carbon inks. For the vast majority of my printing, I did use the blue toner in the profile.
