Keith There is an excellent contributor to the Blackandwhitetheprint list, Clayton Jones, who has a lot of information on BO printing on his web site. That's definitely worth a read. You certainly can do BO printing without QTR. However, if you want to use QTR to create a BO curve, you can. My set of curves for the 2200/UT7/Premier FineArt paper include a BO2K curve that does just that. It's not for your printer, but would serve as an example. I created the BO2K curve as an experiment to see if I would like the result. It was OK, but I preferred the greater degree of control (for me anyway) of the usual cool/warm mix.
