QTR-Quadtone RIP

John,
I am not sure where you are on this, so forgive any repeated
or dumb ideas, but be sure you are seeing the QTR driver not just GIMP. 
Also, be sure that the 7000 is on, and it wouldn't hurt to have
it loaded with a sheet of paper and ready to print before you start
trying to do the add printer rountine.
