QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am new to NK7 ink. I am using an Epson R1800 w/ QuadtoneRIP on Mac  
OSX.  The results on matte paper are good, however the same  
monochrome image printed on Epson Premium Glossy photo paper results  
in good looking prints but the top layer of ink never dries. I am  
generally printing at 2880 dpi and I have not changed the ink limit  
adjustment. I select  glossy paper in the "Printer Features" popup.  
Is NK7 ink designed to work with glossy paper? Do I need to reduce  
the amount of ink laid down in the ink limit adjustment? Is there   
some other setting I am missing? Thanks. Scott
