Can't speak to the ink question but I've tried Kodak Professional Instant Dry inkjet paper on my 4000 using UC inks and it out performs Epson papers, especially when it comes to bronzing. Their "Lustre" is very nice. I was able to get sample packs at http://www.kodak.com/go/proinkjet and phoning someone at Kodak just before the Christmas holidays.
