QTR-Quadtone RIP

Does anyone know if an X-rite DPT-41 or the Pulse unit could be used instead of the Greytag 
Eye-One to read the charts with the MeasureTool?

I'm getting prints that are solarized looking when I print to my 9500 after converting to NK6 
inks using Roy Harrington's Quadtone Rip.

Would linearizing help fix this problem? I also just found out yesterday that our 4th ink 
density was supposed to be at 4% is really filled with 6-7%. I'm supposed to be getting new 
cartridges next week. Anyone else that's having problems should check to see if they got a 
bad batch of ink.
