I'm sure many of you just got the email from
Shades of Paper about this new paper. I would love to hear of anyone beta
testing it with the 2200--and better yet---QTR. http://www.shadesofpaper.com/
This is a quote from the Crane folks that is part of this email:
"Museo® Silver Rag digital fine art paper was designed with fiber based
photo paper and a fine art photographer in mind. It has the semi-gloss look of a
traditional air dried fiber print with the feel of a fine cotton paper and the
image quality rivaling market leading photo quality inkjet papers. Manufactured
to archival standards, Museo® Silver Rag is for use with pigmented inkjet inks.
It gives exceptional print performance for both B&W and color
imaging."
I gathered from the post that it won't be on
their website until after PMA--but they are expecting a shipment next
week. I'm debating about buying a box, but would like to hear some real
life experiences with it I guess as its fairly pricey. Hope there's
someone on this list that may have been a beta tester.
