What should I do with the other levels? > Other question: at the step before, when the preview page appears what > should I choose in the "Printer profile"? Gray gamma 2.2, or QTR gray > matte paper? You always select Gray Matte for matte paper and Gray Glossy for glossy paper. I don't have an Epson 800 printer, with my 4000, in Curves, I have 3 or 4 curves for many different paper types. I only use Enhanced Matte at this point and I only have 4 selections. The reason you have 2 curves is so you can "blend" the output between different curves. What you need to do is just print, print, print, print and keep track of the settings you use each time. You'll eventually hit a combination you like. Below Curves are options for lightening and darkening prints in small amounts. You've got to print, print, print, print until you're happy with the results. There's no "magic bullet" that will get you to the perfect print the first time (I wish there were :) Good luck, Alan
