Joachim Of course you are wrong, happily :-). QTR works for any type of paper. You must have appropriate inks and have (or create) the appropriate curves. For example, there are a number of curves for the Epson 2200 for a variety of glossy and semi-gloss papers, as well as matte papers. Unfortunately there are not as many curves available for the more modern printers such as the 2400 or 9800. I presume they will come with time. However, the number of ink and paper options are also increasing dramatically, so finding a curve for a particular combination of ink and paper you like may be getting less likely.
