The list of papers is in the PPD file for the printer. Typically, these are the same as the list you would get from the printer driver. You could delete items from the list. (Look for "MediaType" in the file.) However, I don't think it would do any good to add any. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Dave Sent: Friday, May 12, 2006 2:55 PM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Re: quadtone and epson 2200 It's funny this question comes up just as I'm wondering the same thing. Is there a way to "teach" QTR about different papers in that drop down or is it accomplished through the curves choices? If it's curves, do I have to create my own curves for all different papers or can QTR take advantage of the profiles that come from the paper vendors? The version of QTR I'm using, 2.3.12, only shows printing models that start with the word "Quad". I've been assuming I should use Quad2200 since I use an Epson 2200. Is that the right choice or should I really have an "Epson2200" choice? thanks, Dave --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Tom Moore" <r.t.moore@...> wrote: > > You don't state which inkset.
