The list of papers is in the PPD file for the printer. Typically, these are the
same as the list you would get from the printer driver. You could delete items
from the list. (Look for "MediaType" in the file.) However, I don't think it
would do any good to add any.

It's funny this question comes up just as I'm wondering the same thing.

Is there a way to "teach" QTR about different papers in that drop down or is it
accomplished through the curves choices? If it's curves, do I have to create my
own curves for all different papers or can QTR take advantage of the profiles
that come from the paper vendors?

The version of QTR I'm using, 2.3.12, only shows printing models that start with
the word "Quad". I've been assuming I should use Quad2200 since I use an Epson
2200. Is that the right choice or should I really have an "Epson2200" choice?
