Re: [QuadtoneRIP] OS X 10.4.6 Installation Problems

2006-05-18 by Roy Harrington

Hi Robert,

The R220 driver name isn't available yet. But its completely
compatible with the R200
so all you need to do is set it up as if it were are a R200. The
auto-installation won't work
but the installation is pretty easy to workaround. The idea is to use
the name QuadR200
and connect it to your R220. So in Print Utility, click Add, select
the R220 printer, set
the name to QuadR200 and select in Print Using: QuadTone 2.4 R200.
Now you will be able to use the InstallR200 script.

The more involved issue is that I'm not sure which set of inks you
actually have and in
any case there aren't any pre-made profiles for MIS inks on the R200.
Are you using EZBW
inks? With these its also possible to just print with the Epson driver.
