QTR-Quadtone RIP

I have an Epson 7600 with NK7 inks and Sony Artisan monitor, printing 
on Hahn Photo Rag using the predefined Curve for same. Am using Gray 
Lab color space in PhotoShop. 

The prints I get via QuadTone RIP are "blah" (flat, no punch). What I 
see on my monitor is crisp, lively. I feel I am missing something. 
What am I going wrong? 

Same images printed to my Epson 2200 using ImagePrint are good.

Any help/assistance is appreciated...I have a show entry due in a few 
days...
