You should be connecting to the printer by running the printer install
script in Profiles/2200-UC  (or whatever printer you have).  However
if you don't see a printer in Printer Setup >> Add Printer then the hardware 
connection isn't working properly.  I assume you aren't getting the Epson
driver either -- that would be showing in Add Printer as well.
