QTR-Quadtone RIP

There are two new versions of QTR.

Version 2.2b  for the Mac.
    Fixes problem with Jaguar.  Been tested with Jaguar, Panther and Tiger.
    Unresolved issue with Tiger is the doubling of the print dialog.  If you just
    use the second one all operates fine.

Version 2.2e for Windows.
    A couple minor issues were fixed. 
    In particular a bad tiff file with zero ppi caused a failure that has been fixed.  
    Feeding direction of paper is now more obvious.

When I went to install the new QTR on a Mac running 10.3.9, it froze during the 
installation process.  It would not proceed beyond the initial screen.  It never asks for 
where to install.  It just sits there when you click "continue"

Forget my previous post about not responding on install.  It just took an inordinately long 
time to find the disks.  Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Probably just spinning up the disk.  That always throws me.

I just installed Tiger and then downloaded QTRIP 2.2b and installed  
it. My problem is that it does not show up in the Printer List in the  
Print Center. It is also not on the list when I click Add Printers.  
Any ideas how to access it?

Thanks for any thoughts on this subject.

The printer is hooked up via USB and on when installing QTR...correct?

You should be connecting to the printer by running the printer install
script in Profiles/2200-UC  (or whatever printer you have).  However
if you don't see a printer in Printer Setup >> Add Printer then the hardware 
connection isn't working properly.  I assume you aren't getting the Epson
driver either -- that would be showing in Add Printer as well.

Ah, yes - I forgot about that little aspect of the installation. <g>  
It's there now, only one, however, not two, but I'll see if it  
works.....
