Unless I'm misunderstanding you, it doesn't work that way on Windows. What
you do is convert the image to your ICC profile using perceptual intent, and
then save that as a tiff and print it from QTRGui.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
