Sorry Jon, the question was to you and I jumped all over it. I am curious though, are there formulation issues that may effect pigment settling in different ink sets? Also, I forgot to mention to the original poster- standard procedure here to avoid anything like this is to take the carts out af all the printers (the OEMs too) every other Monday morning and give them a little shake. Also, if for some reason a printer has printed no paper at all in a few weeks for somew reason, I print a few inches of something, anything, at 40" wide to give the lines a lot of movement as well, and also move a bit of ink through them. Seriously, I'm extremely picky about hue subtlety for mono prints, it's never shifted.
