QTR-Quadtone RIP

I installed QTR RIP in Mac G5 10.4.8, and G4 10.4.8, for the Pro9600/matte black and 
R2400/matte 
black.  

1)  How do I use QTR?
2)  How do I use the profiles, if that is what I do have from the download.
3)  I see QTR-RGB LAB, Matte black paper, Photo paper, and I see QTR-gray LAB, gray 
matte paper and finally gray photo paper, in the printer space in print with preview, PS CS.  
However I cannot find them in my profiles in either library.   Where are they?

4)  The prints I have printed a alarmingly dark.  Very dark.  
5)  How do I use and when do I use calibration? 

I did -50% ink limit, and gamma adjust -15%.   Still prints extremely dark, if there was any 
change at all.

How are the dithered algorhythms used?

I have no idea what I am doing.  You all must know that by reading this.

I am sure it is simple for those of you that are using QTR.
