QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,
I'm using an Epson 2200 with the NK7 inks from John Cone on Hahn. Photo Rag 308. 

From a discussion on the Piezography forum, and with the folks from Inkjetmall, it seems 
I'm laying down too much ink and the Hahn. Paper ripples. 

If I set the ink limit slider to -50% the ripples dissapear (the print, however, looks terrible). 
If I set it to -25% they reappear. 

I'd like to create a new curve/profile for my printer but I had a question.  I've printed the 
ink separation test page and am trying to find the patches where the inks max out but the 
black ink will max out at about 40 - 45%. Everything else at around 80 - 85%. Is this 
normal? Should I just set the limit to 80% and ignore the black ink?
