QTR-Quadtone RIP

All,

I finally have what I think to be some satisfactory curves to share. 
I have uploaded them to the files section.

It's late here, so rather than expound further I'll just paste a 
copy of the readme file. Enjoy, and send me any comments/questions!

R800/R1800 Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl Quadtone Rip Profiles

These Quadtone Rip profiles are for use with the following setup:

- R800 or R1800 printer
- Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl paper
- Stock Epson inks

- Quadtone Rip Settings:
  - Printing Model: QuadR800 or QuadR1800
  - Media Type: Premium Luster Photo Paper
  - Resolution: 2880 DPI
  - Dither Algorithm: Hybrid Floyd-Steinberg
  
These profiles use the Photo Black ink and gloss optimizer for 
optimum
print quality on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag.

To install, copy  the files "R800_F-A-Pearl_2880_v10.quad" and 
"R800_F-A-Pearl_2880_warm_v10.quad" to the directory 
C:\Program Files\QuadToneRIP\QuadTone\QuadR800  (or \Quad1800 if you 
prefer.)

In Quadtone Rip, select printing model QuadR800 or Quad1800 to make 
these 
profiles available.  They can be blended to suit your tonality 
preference.

These profiles are linearized using a Printfix Pro spectrophotometer.
The cool tone profile is visually adjusted to approximate the 
tonality of a
professionally made sample B+W print from the Epson Stylus Pro 
3800.  Not a
perfect match, but pretty darn close!

Because I made some modifications to the .quad files after they were 
output 
from the Curve Creation utility, I have not included the .qidf 
files.  These
modifications were necessary to ensure proper working of the Gloss 
Optimizer.

I may continue to tweak these profiles.  Watch this space for 
updates.
