QTR-Quadtone RIP

hello!

I am attempting to print over the network from my mac OS 10.4 main
computer to my old G3 connected to my printer. The g3 is running OS9,
and I am able to make a network connection to it.

but apparently QTR can't find the 9500. i installed it as an IP
printer, using the correct address. when i print i receive the
message:"Network host '192.168.0.30' is busy, down or unreachable;
will retry in 30 seconds..." after which it never accomplishes anything.

Do i need to install QTR on the other computer as well? If so, is
there still an OS9 version available?
