OK, now I understand that you select "no color management" when printing the target for profiling and that after you have the profile you convert to that profile, save as a tiff and then print with QTR. Although you are printing with an icc profile you still must choose at least one existing curve. While there is an icc profile there is no corresponding curve within QTR because the Piezo curves weren't created by QTR and are not editable or relinearizable by QTR. In my case I was profiling Premier Premium Matte paper for the 4000 K7 inkset and used the Kayenta curve to base the new profile on. After getting the message to choose at least one curve I gave a 1% Kayenta curve and a "none" in the other curve box. The resulting print looked like what I expected. Is this the right way to print with an icc profile in QTR?
