I have found that if I exercise all the controls before minimizing to the tray, things seem to work. However, that is not a simple thing to do. Best is to not minimize to the tray. Yes, Unidirectional was the old Better. Roy changed the text for a few of the parameters to be more descriptive of what is going on. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Howard Shaw Sent: Saturday, February 10, 2007 6:53 AM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [QuadtoneRIP] qtrgui 2.5.0 - problem with dropdown box display Yes, "Minimize to System Tray" definitely has something to do with it as I don't get the missing dropdown box item problem if I untick this. (Another symptom of this problem is that the "Advanced Adjustments" adjustable areas also completely disappear on occasion). I think the rolldown wackiness is just because the "hot" area triggering the expanding & disappearing of these areas is actually larger than just the arrow so an accidental click on a seemingly blank bit of the interface can trigger it. There are also extra hotspots such as the area level with "Curve Blending" that have no arrow. One other little change is that Better/Faster has now become Bi-directional/Unidirectional. Am I correct in thinking that UniDirectional is the equivalent of the old "Better"? Thanks Howard
