Well  I have used both previously, as stated, but the result has
always been the same.
Although I have, today, changed over to glossy media, PK, I have just
tried unidirectional and there is no change, in fact it is more
pronounced. 
I understand that bidirectional was the higher quality setting and
believed this should have given the best result.
Any other thoughts?
