QTR-Quadtone RIP

I posted this message originally under Help!HORRID R1800 printing and
since then I've done a bit more troubleshooting.

After changing out all of the software options, I decided to go back
to Epson inks.  I printed using the Epson Quad1800 rather than the
QuadR1800-K7 printing model and the print came out fine.

I know that the K7 print model won't look right using standard Epson
UC inks, but I printed anyway just to see the result.    The
conclusion I am coming to is that the Blue channel is getting
massively overdriven when using the K7 print model.  People's faces
and what is supposed to be a white/very light grey background is
printed as blue/bluish-purple.  Maybe a mix of blue/magenta being
overdriven.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Have I set up something wrong in the
Epson driver that causes the K7 profile to not work?

One other clue is that when I look in the \Quadtone\Profile directory,
I do not see any subdirectory for R1800 K7 profiles, only R1800-uc,
which makes me wonder where QTR is picking up the k7 profiles that I
am selecting from.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
