If the QTR profile worked fine initially as you indicated and now does not work it is very likely not the profile or QTR's problem unless something changed the profile (.quad file) or some setting in QTR is different. Did anything in your setup or workflow change? Have you cleaned the underside of the print head and run one or two head cleaning cycles? Is the parking pad relatively clean? Also FYI, the three R1800-uc editable profiles (black, sepia, and cool) included in the QTR installation only use the mK ink for black or mK and Y&R for sepia or mK and M&C for cool. The pK ink is not used. I haven't tried to profile my R1800 with the uc inkset using both blacks. The pK will be a little less dense and thus offer a little more smoothness in the mid and highlights. I use Paul Roark's 4K+Ccm inkset --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Michael Hill" <mdhill60@...> wrote: > Correct. I used a canned K7 profile with the R1800-K7 printer model.
