Re: 2200: UC or UT7?

2005-06-06 by René Bakker

Michael,

Some months ago, I did a side by side test with my 2100 on photorag
because I wanted to make a final choice between the two inksets:

I printed a BW pictures with a wide tonal range:
1. UT7 + Epson driver
2. UC + Eboni black + QTR RIP

My conclusion: remarkable how difficult to see any difference in
tonal range, shadows etc. Both dotless.
And if there was a small difference, I was always able to correct it
with some adjustment of levels/curves etc.

So I choose for UC + Eboni because I had value for the color option.
