The 2200 allows 2 kinds of black ink -- Matte Black and Photo Black. An instance of the Epson driver is tied to one black only. If you switch blacks you need to re-install the Epson driver. If you'd like you can name them differently "Stylus Photo 2200 PK" and "Stylus Photo 2200 MK".
