QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,

I have posted a thread about a week ago regarding using QuadtoneRIP 
to print on Canvas but haven't gotten any response so far.

Is it correct to assume that NOBODY in this forum has ever tried 
this combination? I can hardly imagine that.

Again, I plan to use QuadtoneRIP (Windows) to make BW print on HM 
FineArt Canvas with my Epson 7600 UC.
Since there are no curves available for this combination, I am 
curious to know what the best settings are (media, curves) to get 
decent results. I do not plan to create curves on my own because the 
process is too cumbersome and costly too.
Would it even make a difference (for Canvas) or I am fine using 
canned profile with QImage? I know that there are very good profiles 
from Bill Atkinson for Epson Premier WR Canvas which I can use in 
QImage or PS.

However, for the folks that don't use QuadtoneRIP to print BW on 
Canvas, what software/profiles/setting do you use?

Any hint/recommendation is highly appreciated.
