QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi, I just got a new 4800.I haven't even loaded any ink into it yet.I've 
been printing on an old 1160 in BO mode with Eboni on HPR 308 with
great results using the 1160 epson driver.Now that I have this 4800
I'm not quite sure where to start.If I load the stock K3 carts with
Mk, and want to continue with HPR 308, how would the results be with
QTR compared to using epsons ABW mode, or even the Image Print RIP
(which I can't afford right now)Down the road if I switch to Cone's
K7, I know QTR is what I'll want to use from what I've read, but again
I'm a little confused where to start software wise with these K3
inks.Thanks ahead for any advice.
