Converting Epson 2200 to QTR: Do I need to Purge

I am converting my E2200 to use QTR and K7 inks. I would like to know if it is necessary to 
purge my system first or do as InkJetMall says "No Purging Necessary".

Thanks, I have checked the old messages and no one speaks directly to this issue.
