Hello, I tried a test print using Quadtone Rip on a Epson 2200 and on a Epson 4000 printer. The print from the 4000 printer is beautiful and the print from the 2200 is pretty bad. I am confused why I am getting such different outputs from these two printers. Everything I have read seems to indicate that I can use the Epson 2200 as a B&W printer using QuadTone Rip. The settings are the same on both printers in the GUI. I am using Epson Enhanced Matte and the curve I am using is UC-EEnhMatte-cool. Is it possible that Quadtone Rip does not like Epson's Matte ink? Should I switch to the Photo Black ink? I was hoping to make the Epson 2200 a dedicated B&W printers using a CIS system of some sort but if the results don't improve the printer will be on eBay soon. Thanks in advance. Mark
