Thanks Mark. I had looked into this on a previous occasion, with little luck, and was going to revisit it this morning more carefully. I am curious if you have found any technical information on what these these settings actually do? I didn't notice any linear progression from 1 to 9, in fact it seemed sort of random. What have your observations been in this regard? This banding seems to depend on the file: some print perfectly smooth, some very banded; and some values smooth, some banded in the same print!
