Thanks for the reply. I hooked up my pulse and the utility opened for me but I was unable to use the commands that you indicated in the read me file to switch to strip mode instead of spot reading. You indicate that there is a firmware upgrade on the Xrite site which allows you to swith to strip mode but I was unable to locate this on the site. There is no such download for the DPT20. I did however download the ColorPort utility which allowed me to generate the TID and 21 gray step wedge to print out and then scan with my pulse. I am still just trying to understand the process of callibration and creating a custom curve to use with QTR. I still have a bit of a learning curve to go through to understand the complete process. I am not totally clear on all the specific steps. Hopefully after reading several post and the different documentation and guides I'm hoping it will all make more sense to me.
