Hi Andy,

I haven't done printing of negs but I know Ron and seen his work.  He uses a
4000 printer instead of a 3800.  This could account for different amount of
ink.
If its mainly an issue of too much ink then just reducing the ink limits
will fix it.
Another issue to check is that you use 2880dpi not 1440.  I think the amount
of
ink is large compared to regular prints so it may need to dry before using.

You should try contacting Ron to see if he recognizes the issues you have.
