For someone to answer your question they would have to have experience with both programs. Maybe those of us on this list haven't indulged in the cost of Imageprint. On the other hand, since you have Imageprint it would seem possible for you to download and try QuadtoneRIP, which has a free trial--and make the judgment yourself. Those of us without the funds for Imageprint are awaiting your evaluation. - Stephen stephen.sbillard.org -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of tonyonmarian Sent: Friday, August 10, 2007 7:35 AM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] I still need advice I seriously want to buy this Rip but need some input first. I posted the following 10 days ago and have had zero responses. Did my post break some rule? "I know that this august body may be slightly biased, but I would like some input. I currently own an Epson 3800 and have Imageprint as my RIP. I have a friend that swears by the B&W quality of his Quadtone RIP. My question then is what are the pros and cons of each. I would consider a second purchase of this type of app since 50% of my output is in B&W, but I also worry whether they could play nicely together on my Mac. Tony" Yahoo! Groups Links
