This sort of problem is ususaly due to TIFF format problems. Check for things like compression and alpha channels. Save the file in as simple a format as possible. - Stephen stephen.sbillard.org -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Mike Kirwan Sent: Sunday, August 19, 2007 8:18 AM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] QTR 2.4.2 Prints a Black Image I have been experimenting with Arcsoft panoramic stitching software and have run into a problem where QTR just prints a black rectangle. I create the panoramic image, save as a TIFF file, open in Photoshop and convert to grayscale (making sure there are no layers etc). Adjust the image, size and sharpen and save as a new TIFF file. Print from Photoshop to an Epson R1800 works OK, output from QTR a black box the size of the image. I am using version 2.4.2 of QTR and really hoping to get this to work as I do not like the B&W output using the Epson drivers. Any thoughts or helpful tips?
