No replies, strange. Here's my opinion:

I'd prefer to have the options "centered" and "scale to fit" act 
indipendently. Whatever I want, I could switch on and have it working 
as expected. Like Jeff, I had situations where I had to turn of 
centering after switching on "scale to fit". Only a little 
annoyance...
