Re: QTR/Printer doesn't print after install MIS 3K inks

2007-10-31 by Frank Winkler

The protection counter is a safety mechanism for the ink waste pads.
When the message appears that you have to change hardware, the
wastepads are full of ink an they have to be changed by epson service.

But I just read your postings once more: you told that you have
printed about 20 pics. So the wastepads can't be full with old ink
already.

Which error messages did you get from the printer driver?
You might reset the chips of the cartridges via ssc-utility.

Perhaps this will help.

Regards
Frank

The error message is File Failed to Print.

this QTR, reading, trying to digest the info. and this was supposed to
be easy to use with the MIS Inks. first try with it and it fails.
