QTR-Quadtone RIP

I'm printing b&w on R2400
I have read on several pages that getting neutral b&w tones with Epson 
K3 pigments implies QTR needs to use not only black but other pigments, 
and lots of yellow ("lightfastesness" problem). When using MIS 
pigments, it seems you can get neutral tone only by using the Eboni 
black cart. Am I right?
Can QTR manage using only matt k3 black? is it neutral?
