QTR-Quadtone RIP

I've just purchased the last release of the software for mac os x
but once installed, i'm not able to create curves on my own
I mean i cannot find something similar to the graphic examples that shows how it works in 
windows os :-!
Except for the interface before printing where I can choose preinstalled curves, I'd like to 
create and edit them on my own.
