If your images are only 7x8 and they are printing on a 13x9 paper, why not change to a 12.5x 8.5 paper size and see if that helps. Or try this load the roll as a sheet, then change to roll with cutter on after the sheet is in. I am with Roy here in that it sounds like a hardware issue.
