QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am looking into the Piezography K7 inkset (for my Epson 4000) which 
is a monochrome inkset with 7 dilutions of black. They tell me the 
inkset will work fine with QTR.  I am wondering if anyone has had any 
experience with this inkset yet, especially how difficult it is to set 
up curves and lineraize with them.  Also, any experience with the 
quality of the images would be great.
