THANK YOU SHEILA, I appreciate your response. When I download an update for any application I always look for as much info as possible relating to the update. In this case there was a PDF concerning printing with 10.0.1. Most of the info consisted of procedures I've been using for the past few years, so nothing new. However, the intro section on printing mentioned that the printer(s) must be deleted and then re-added, both for PC and Mac. As I stated, this is why I wanted some feedback from the group. If you haven't encountered any printing problems without following the prescribed procedure, that is indeed good to hear. Just so that you know this is NOT a figment of my imagination, I have enclosed the section I mentioned, copied directly from the PDF I downloaded from the Adobe site. Now of course I am in no way suggesting that you follow this method Sheila. If it ain't broke.......... Again, thank you very much for the positive response. The excerpt from the Adobe PDF follows: "To prepare your computer for printing with the Photoshop 10.0.1 update, please follow these simple steps: 1. Install the Photoshop update. 2. Delete your printer. 3. Re-add your printer via the OS Print Control Panel (Win) or Printer Setup (Mac).3. 4. Install profiles for both the printer and paper you're going to use. 5. Delete your Photoshop Preferences. To do this, launch the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift 5. (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS), then click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
