QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello

A friend of mine bought an EPSON R2400 (= European name) the other
day. She will only be using OEM inks. From time to time however she
would like to print
Black and white - mostly on glossy papers. 

Questions:

a) I don't see the 2400 in the dropdown list of printers in my QTRGUI
vers. 2.5.2.1 . My own printer (the EPSON 2100 is there allright). Am
I missing something???

b) Is there a noticeable difference d-max wise and regarding
metamerism/bronzing etc. between R.H. quadtone RIP and the EPSON
driver(if only OEM cartridges are being used).
