QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am new and was referred by Paul Roark.

Paul used QTR to generate several .icc files.
I am having trouble reading them.

I am using Windows XP and Photoshop CS3.

I am interested in only '260-Kirkland-Glossy.icc'.
I have tried four programs to open it up on my windows XP system
* Color Darkroom
* ICC Profile Inspector
* Windows
* PhotoMe
All of them give errors trying to read this icc.

I tried unzipping it on a Linux box and there is no difference in
the two files.

I read the ICC 4.2 definition.
I stepped through a program that the ICC supports to read the ICC (iccdump).
I looked at some ICCs that work on my system.

It appears that at least the header is corrupted. Where there should be 0
bytes
there are bytes with a value of 0x20 which is a space character.
The first 4 bytes should be a binary 32 bit big endian integer. The first
two bytes
should have a value of 0, not 0x20.

Is this expected or is the .icc file being modified along the way.
